Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO)


In order to register for CGFO exams taking place during the School of Governmental Finance, October 22, 2021, you must have already applied to and been accepted into the CGFO program as of
September 30, 2021
You may attend review courses if you were not already accepted into the program.

  • The next date for CGFO exams will be at the School of Governmental Finance
    October 17 – 22, 2021 in Daytona Beach. 
  • Review courses will be held there in person October 19, 20 & 21.
  • Exams will be held there in person on Friday, October 22.

Program Costs:

Non-refundable application fee of $50.00

$30.00 per exam

$25.00 per review course webinar (given in the spring)

$45.00 in person review course (given in the fall)

You have up to five years to pass all five exams before you must reapply and re-pay the $50.00 application fee. Each time you take an exam, you must pay the $30.00 exam fee. This fee is to help defray the administrative costs of providing proctors, exams, and setting-up exam sites.

Study/Review Information:
